In addition to weekly feedback, we conduct several progress tests throughout the year to gauge the development of your child’s learning.
We arrange parent-teacher meetings after each test because we know it is important to keep you as parents informed.
These meetings provide an opportunity to have a more in-depth discussion in regards to your child’s overall progress in relation to passing their 11 plus exam.

Your child will receive homework on a weekly basis, including extra 11+ practice questions, vocabulary to learn and reading. All homework is marked and monitored by our tutors in the following lesson.
Your child will complete more than 30 GL Mock Exams throughout their 11+ journey at Broad Horizon Tuition.
Our GL Mock Exams are run strictly according to realistic exam conditions, providing your child with the confidence to face the real exam.
Our lessons at Broad Horizon are carefully structured into multiple sections to ensure effective learning. Our tutors dedicate the first 45 minutes to thoroughly review and address any mistakes made on the homework, resolving any misconceptions your child may have had.
Following this, our tutors will proceed to teach a new concept, providing comprehensive explanations after which your child will be given practice questions. These practice questions are assessed by the tutor who takes the time to individually go through each mistake, page by page. This meticulous approach is applied to all the 11 plus subjects taught at Broad Horizon.
Unlike many other tuition providers, at Broad Horizon we prioritise actual teaching throughout the entire lesson. We don’t simply spend the entire lesson marking homework packs; our tutors are dedicated to actually teaching and demonstarting techniques to truly benefit your child’s learning.
